50mm Latty Rotary Union Overhaul

Rotary Union arrived at our Texas repair facility.
Rotary Union taken apart for inspection.
Interior of main housing showing the worn lower steady bushing. We will machine new bushing that will have press fit in housing and a suitable I.D. clearance over the rotary sleeve.
This is the rotary Tungsten seat and stationary carbon seal face in holder. New carbon to be machined & Installed / lapped flat. New Springs to be fabricated.
The rotary seal sleeve has wear in the area it rotates inside the steady bushing, requires re-machine & polish.
This is the worn internal steady bushing in the main housing. Robco to machine replacement with correct clearance around rotary sleeve.
New bearings being installed on the rotary seal sleeve.
Rotary Union re-assembled. It was pressure tested to 60 PSIG for 15 min. with no pressure drop. Unit was shipped back to end user in South Carolina and is back in operation.
